Factory Restore Windows Vista on Inspiron 530 Dell Desktop PC with F8 key on boot

To do a factory restore re-install of Windows Vista on a Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop PC, you need to just press F8 (repeatedly) when the PC first boots.
ie.
Press Power button.
Now press F8 until you see a screen that has the option:
"Repair Your Computer"
Wait until the Windows Repair window opens.
Login
A window called "System Recovery Options" will load
At the very bottom of this window is "Dell DataSafe Restore and Emergency Backup"
Click on this and follow their instructions to fully restore windows.
** NOTE ** I thought that I could do a backup of the my documents and my pictures folder, but it didn't work. After it re-installed windows vista, it booted to a completely blank installation.
This computer has a hidden restore partition which will allow you to safely re-install windows through the menu option I provided. Unfortunately, Dell no longer ships the OS and Restore software cd/dvd's. Instead.. you will have a restore partition. You are asked to make restore dvd's when you first get your computer.
