How to Install Mods on Minecraft (Windows 7/Vista)

READ THIS IF YOU WATCHED THE VIDEO AND IT DIDNT WORK!
Hey guys, this video shows you how to install mods on Minecraft.
Supported Operating Systems to do this:
Windows 7
Windows Vista
NOTE: If your installing a mod that requires Mod loader, download mod loader here:
Follow these steps:
1. Download Winrar (32-bit and 64-bit download at the bottom of the description)
2. Download the mod you want for Minecraft
3. Go to the Windows 7 Start menu and type in "%appdata%"
4. A window will pop up! Click the ".minecraft"
folder
5. Click the "bin" folder also.
6. Right click on your "minecraft.jar"
7. Select "Open With", then select "Choose Default Programs"
8. Click "Browse" on the window that pops up!
9. If you have got Winrar installed, find it on the window that comes up!
10. When your back to the other window, the Winrar file should be showing! Select it!
11. The "minecraft.jar" folder will be on Winrar!
12. Delete "META-INF" on "minecraft.jar"
13. Drag the mods files on the "minecraft.jar" folder on Winrar
14. Go back to the Roaming folder then go back to the ".minecraft" and create a folder called "mods" in the '''.minecraft" folder
15. Drag the mods files into the "mods" folder and then your done installing your mod
16. Launch Minecraft!
17. Go on any Minecraft world and check if the mod was installed
If the mod did not get installed, read the steps again or watch the video instead. If it still doesnt work, ask for help or watch a more helpful video than mine!
Please note that META-INF may sometimes come back to your minecraft.jar. It does that to some people for a reason! And META-INF pretty much blocks you from installing mods sometimes!
Why do I get a Black Screen?:
There could be some reasons why you could get a black screen after installing mods and launching Minecraft.
1. You didn't delete META-INF
2. Your not on a supported version of Minecraft
3. The version of Java your running is outdated.
4. The mod your installing requires Modloader and you don't have Modloader installed.
5. You didn't drag ALL of the mods files into minecraft.jar
6. The mod your installing isn't supported for the Version of Minecraft your using!
Why does Minecraft crash when I launch Minecraft and/or launch a world or server:
1. You didn't delete META-INF
2. The mod your installing isn't supported on your version of Minecraft your running
3. The version of Java you have is outdated.
